2-[3-(4-hydroxystyryl)-5,5-dimethylcyclohex-2-enylidene] malononitrile
OH1 generates and detects terahertz, and doubles as a second harmonic generator. A 34 mJ near-infrared OPA pump gives 85 MV/cm. It is used for intense nonlinear spectroscopy and for broadband linear spectroscopy.
